Artissima, on Thursday 31 October 2019 (preview) and until Sunday 3 November, opens the doors of its twenty-sixth edition in the large and bright spaces of the Oval of Turin, directed for the third year by Ilaria Bonacossa, recently reconfirmed by the Council Executive of the Torino Musei Foundation to lead the event for another two years (until 2021).

The only Italian fair dedicated exclusively to contemporary art is preparing to welcome its 55,000 visitors with a schedule that, keeping its identity of research and avant-garde intact, will propose original ideas and proposals to respond to the stimuli of the most interesting instances of our time .

Internationally recognized for its attention to experimental practices and as a launching pad for emerging artists and research galleries, Artissima is a unique event that attracts an audience of collectors, professionals and enthusiasts every year. The fair is reconfirmed at each edition as the favorite by curators, directors of institutions, art foundations and patrons of museums from all over the world, involved in various ways in its program.
