“Panorama” di Francesco Jodice

CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, Torino
Curated by Francesco Zanot. Panorama is the first survey of the career of the photographer and filmmaker Francesco Jodice (Naples, 1967). The exhibition offers the widest selection of Jodice’s works ever collected in an exhibition and explores twenty years of the work of this eclectic artist, who uses all the languages of modernity to restore his status of social commitment to art. The exhibition also tells about the processuality that animates Francesco Jodice’s work and research: the Panorama on display is therefore not only the geopolitical one, a recurring theme in his poetics, but also the set of methodologies developed by the artist. The work emerges from the accumulation of maps, books, newspaper clippings, backstage images, auditions, interviews, videos and much more, put on display on a modular table of over 40 meters along the corridor of CAMERA.
