Until Sunday 12 March 2017 [/ vc_column_text] [/ vc_column] [/ vc_row] Look Afar is the result of a physical and mental journey in Swedish Lapland made by Chiara Dynys last winter. For days, weeks, months, the artist has made long ambushes, during which he has documented with abundance the natural phenomena that characterize this magical land and that fill the metaphysical sidereal landscape with an incomparable light. Returning from this deep confrontation with the extreme nature of Lapland, Chiara Dynys worked on the collected documentation and on her memories, the result is a series of pictorial works, in which the suggestion and the evocative force become testimony and narration at the same time, in a form that the artist herself defines “liquid”. Look Afar is a project that continues the artistic research conducted by Chiara Dynys on light as an archetype of a horizon to be reached, the focal point of an optical cone that through the language of art allows you to push yourself towards an ever greater condition of consciousness, projecting itself to infinity.
