L’apparenza di ciò che non si vede by the photographer and filmmaker Armin Linke, (Milan, 1966), curated by Ilaria Bonacossa and Philipp Ziegler, reflects the artist’s position towards photography: instead of considering the photographic image the simple result of capturing an instant or a detail, Linke transforms the images into starting points for a series of conversations that analyze these traces of reality. Linke invites scientists and theorists of various disciplines to measure himself with his photographic archive, which includes over twenty thousand photographs Presented in 2015 at ZKM with the contributions of Ariella Azoulay, Bruno Latour, Peter Weibel, Mark Wigley, Jan Zalasiewicz, the PAC exhibition adds the text and the voice of Lorraine Daston, Irene Giardina and Franco Farinelli.
