One year of opening: until 31 July 2018

With Milan Unit, Viasaterna presents for first time to the public an ongoing project, hosting for a year the entire archive that the artist Ramak Fazel (Tehran, 1965) built and assembled over a period of time from 1994, the year in which he moved to Milan, until 2009 when he returned to the United States.

Through an exhibition and a series of meetings and insights that will take place throughout the year until September 2018, and with the desire to offer a new space – physical, temporal, but also and above all for discussion – Viasaterna proposes itself as the place to revive an extraordinary body of prints, negatives, originals and personal ephemera that Ramak Fazel has collected and with dedication chosen to keep for over twenty years, under the name of Milan Unit.
