M77 Gallery presents I Sing with My Tongue Silent, a solo exhibition by the Iranian artist Avish Khebrehzadeh, curated by Danilo Eccher.

Born in Theran in 1969, Avish is part of the group of artists of the Iranian diaspora: raised in a family of Persian intellectuals who greatly influenced her artistic training, she left her country at a very young age to move to Rome, the city where she undertook the studies of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. Later he moved to the United States, to Washington DC, where he still lives and works today.

In 2003 she participated in the Venice Art Biennale, an occasion in which she was awarded the Golden Lion for best young artist.

The Milanese exhibition, curated by Danilo Eccher, builds an exhibition path developed on the two floors of the gallery in Via Mecenate, where about thirty works will be presented which testify to the most significant techniques for the production of the artist: oils on canvas , drawings and video installations.
