The CRC Foundation and the GAM – Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art continue the collaboration started last year with the exhibition “I don’t love nature” and present, from Wednesday 24 October 2018 to Sunday 20 January 2019, in the Monumental Complex of San Francesco in Cuneo, a new collective exhibition dedicated to Italian art of the 1950s, with works all from the collections of the Turin Museum.

The exhibition “We continue the evolution of art” Informal art from the collections of the GAM – Turin is curated by Riccardo Passoni, Director of the GAM of Turin, and presents a selection of about 60 works by Italian painters and sculptors active in the second post-war period.

The exhibition itinerary collects the works of the main protagonists of that unrepeatable artistic season: from Alberto Burri to Lucio Fontana, from Carla Accardi to Giuseppe Capogrossi, passing through the Gruppo degli Otto (Afro, Birolli, Corpora, Moreni, Morlotti, Santomaso, Turcato and Widow).
