#eptacaidecafobia

is the title of the first edition to be held from 17 to 26 May 2019 in the spaces of the former Giovanni Cova Panettoni Laboratory.

The first edition of BienNoLo is born, the biennial of contemporary art in NoLo, the multi-ethnic district of creativity in Milan. Designed by Carlo Vanoni, who is also its curator together with ArtCityLab and Matteo Bergamini, BienNolo will be held from 17 to 26 May 2019 in the evocative spaces of the former Panettoni Giovanni Cova Laboratory, in the heart of the district north of Piazzale Loreto that gives its name to the project.

The first BienNoLo has the title “#Eptacaidecafobia”. Word of Greek origin that seems a tongue twister with a mysterious and disturbing sound, heptacaidecaphobia is instead a characteristic theme of Italian folkloric culture and customs: it is the fear of the number 17. Eptacaidecaphobia is the theme of this first exhibition built for NoLo and NoLo : staging of a phobia against any type of fear.
