From 2 July to 13 September 2020 the PAC reopens with an extended version of PERFORMING PAC the format dedicated to a current theme in the field of contemporary visual arts studies is back. A platform open to the public that in 2020 investigates the relationship between contemporary art and music, developed through meetings, live performances, archive materials and projections that explore the interaction between sound and image in the practice and research of contemporary artists.

The exhibition itinerary develops through the works of 5 artists who use sound and music in their research.

The ideal godmother will be Laurie Anderson, icon of multimedia art, to whom the PAC pays homage by projecting for the first time the video of the performance made in 2003 by the New York artist at the PAC on the occasion of his anthology The Record of the Time curated by Jean Hubert Martin and Thierry Raspail.
