Fuori Salone 2017 | Robot City presenta White Slave

Artcurial Italia | Palazzo Crespi, Milano

Open to the public: from Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 April 2017.

Robot City – Italian Art Factory, a leading Italian company in the high quality processing of Carrara marble led by Gualtiero Vanelli, presents a new unpublished project entitled White Slave, on the occasion of the 2017 edition of the Milanese week dedicated to design.

White Slave was unveiled on Monday 3 April with the exceptional presence of the art critic Vittorio Sgarbi. The exhibition can be visited free of charge to the public from Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 April 2017 in the spaces of the Milanese Artcurial headquarters, Palazzo Crespi, in Corso Venezia 22.

White Slave is a project by Giuseppe Veneziano conceived by Gualtiero Vanelli, which connects two homonymous works by the artist: a statuary sculpture in Carrara marble made in the Robot City laboratories and the painting from which it was taken.

White Slave is part of a wider path that Gualtiero Vanelli pursues with the aim of projecting marble, the noble material par excellence, into the contemporary. The two works, presented in a setting that places them in a direct comparison, are the protagonists of an art project aimed at showing the infinite processing possibilities that marble can still offer today to artists and designers thanks to the most advanced robotic technologies .
